3021 Pro users - hanging weight from it?

It seems that my new 3021BPRO didn't come with a users manual :rolleyes:

How are you all hanging weight on this thing?

I see 2 clip holes... one plastic one on the 'ball' and one silver one on the center post. I assume that they were for a strap to carry the tripod (I didn't get one of those either... if it comes with it)

Are either of these capable of holding ~30lbs of my camera bag?

I guess I was expecting a hook of some sort....

Just put the camera bag's strap around the "spider" (the junction of the legs) after the tripod is set up.
