Haven't shot or posted in a few weeks.:( Nothing too spectacular but I felt the itch ( and had a break from work) to go look for a couple of my eagles.

Regards,and hello . These are beauties. I can spend hours waiting for my Eagles to decide to fly and when they do , no matter what I do ,be it in "sports" or TV or ?? I can never get a good focus Canon 10d 200-500mm
When on auto focus it takes too long to "focus" and as the subject is rapidlly moving towards me I haven't got a chance. Your focus is amazing to me. Thaks for the great work.. Brian... Paradise ca.

Cumstom function 4-1, A.I. servo, tv mode with at least a shutter speed of 1250 and its a piece of cake. When they take off just fire a burst until the buffer fills. Also try to frame them so as they are positioned in the left of the shot so you can crop later and still leave space for them to fly into.

Nice! I liked the second one. Well in focus.
brian vickery - try tripod and manual focus if you are trying take off images. Prefocus, wait and click on the right moment. Ofcourse, telling it is easier than getting a good image :) I have been struggling for a long time too :-|

These shots Blue, have incredible detail against a deep blue sky the exposure is spot on. Out of interest what was the ISO reading on these shots please? as I'm having difficulty to get good focus.

Great captures of the Balds. They seem to have diminished down here for now. Lucky for you, you know where to find them. Nice shots!

[quote=Blue Deuce]Thanks.

Being new to digital I really struggle to get to grips with this, I'm so used to being prudent (mean) with my use of film. I'm sure it will come one day. I think the best I've managed so far is a burst of 2 frames.
