Has anyone here used SharedInk.com before?

The owner of our company went to northern Africa ealrier this year, armed with his 5D. He came back with some amazing photos.

WHen he showed them to me, they were in a hard-bound book; pretty impressive looking. I didn't think to ask him where he'd had it done. I figured he wanted a book, so he went and had one published. Someone else told me that he'd had it made through SharedInk.com.

Anyway, I went to their website, and the prices dfon't seem too ridiculous. I'm thinking about having two books made, one of my concert photography, and one of more "general" photography.

Any thoughts on this outfit?

Hi, I have just stumbled across this company on Google. Has anyone used them and also, do they ship to the UK?

Thanks

Tim

Hi

I have used them before and they shipped the book to the UK pretty quickly. Personally I quite liked the quality of the printing, Certainly seemed much better than some I have seen. I only went for the canvas option so can't comment on the quality of the leather.

Think you may need to register as a photographer to take advantage of some of the options they offer

Since this thread (such as it was) has been resurrected, I'll chime in.

I ended up getting some books made by MyPublisher.com. With the exception of one book which had ill-cut pages, I'm very happy with the results. They replaced the blem-book very quickly.

I can't speak for SharedInk, other than what I saw in the one book made by them (which was nice), but MyPublisher did a very nice job...
