I went to Flanders Nature Center (Woodbury, Connecticut) today & saw this lil feller during a talk about raptors.

As always I would appreciate any comments to make this image better.

Wow, that's a great picture. I love owls. I'm not sure you could do anything to improve it - at least not to my eyes. It's sharp and in focus, well composed and has great depth of field. Excellant picture!

Thanks for all the nice comments. Although I love to hear how great my pix are (ego booster), I would appreciate some that are critical also. lol!
btw I did do some background work in psp 8 on this image. There was a large green 'glob' on the right side that I cloned out & the left side was 'smudged' somewhat. I just don't know if I could have done that differently - ie better!

It's hard to offer critique when the image is nearly perfect! :D

The only thing that I can imagine would improve on the image is something that can't be fixed really,. and that would be some more interesting lighting.

For that we can either wait till the time is right,. or do some delicate work with fill flash. I am not saying the existing lightimg detracts from the image at all,. I just saw that as the olnly thing that would have made this great image even better.

Super jobby.
However, I did find the large white table? in the background very distracting. Is it possible to burn it in at all?
Otherwise a great shot.
