every photographer must have many pics that they have thought looked great when checking their lcd monitor,only to find later they werent so good, here is three of mine that i would loved to be keepers,
the first is a uk kestral with his wings in the position i have been trying to catch for many years,unfortunatly he was just too far for the s2 tele converter

the second a kestrel again this time as the light was fading , he/she came around a corner and i thought great with the fading light in the background this is going to be the pic of the day, but with the fading light plus the speed of the bird there was nothing in focus,

the third of the very tiny british wren looked like nothing could go wrong, an early morning shot in very good light ,but a couple of fir trees were blowing in the wind casting some shadows ,the shadow only apeared on this cut tree as i took the pic, once the wren flew off i took another pick of the tree it was sitting on ill maybe post it on the landscape forum
