This is my personal 'gallary' using my Canon G2. The pictures here are not a collection of the best pictures I have, but more of a collection of the best picture I had on a single day. Every picture was taken on the day of the day listed.

Easy navigation. Site has been up for around a year now. Let me know what you think.

Hey, I like it. The pictures are nice. The design is clean and simple. I like the color of the background. Very nice.

It is an interesting idea, but ... if I understand your proposal... I am to visit your site "frequently" and that may not be something that I would do -- given the tens of thousands of photo site "out there".

With this type of site, the pictures are archived, so that you can see every picture taken. Woodsq2, I guess, looking again, my only crit would be the archives.

I personally am partial to archives with thumbnails. Dates and/or titles are OK for a typical weblog, but, for a photo site, they don't mean much. Also, it might make the site more enjoyable if you categorized your images and also archived the categories.

I'm in the process of building a personal photo site using Movable Type and a couple plugins, which lets me do what I've described above, as well as extra data, such as the exposure and camera settings.

I am in the process of building some sort of thumbnail system that would make viewing a bit easier.

Yeah it is a Picture of the day versus a tradiational gallery. Some pictures will be simply artistic, while others are a photo 'respresenting' something I did that day. I thought that would be more interesting. In addition, it adds some sort of responsiveness knowign that it is updated daily.

I just added a voting system and a link to see a random photo.

AliasMoze... Categories would be a good idea.
