Heres a few animals we encountered while hiking in Sequoia and Yosemite.

Mule Deer Buck just off from the Panorama Trail Head.

Bear looking for ants just below the High Sierra Trail.

Marmots were plentiful along the Tokopah Falls Trail.

These Mule Deer Bucks didn't have a care in the World each morning out our door at the Wuksachi Lodge.

Wonderful pictures. They make me want to go there myself although, to be honest with you, I'm not sure how I'd react if I saw a bear very close to where I was hiking. :)

LOL _ I was wanting to trek further above the Bear onto Eagle View for the evening Sun set but my wife insisted we turn back. There was actually another down below this one but no photos of him. That was about a 125 yards away taken with the 24-105. It had a number 55 tag in its ear. We also saw two others on the way back to our Lodge.

I thought it was "wide" life. Beautiful shots, I like the marmot shot best.

LOL at me and my stupid proof reading before posting > ... maybe a Mod can edit it to read wild and not wide.

Thanks

What a beautiful place to visit and to too see some beautiful animals. Tag or not though I would still be very nervous to be so close up to that bear, but what a good shot of the bear. I love the setting in the last shot, it has beautiful composition and the Mule deer bucks are very handsome.
Good capture of the Marmot, this image has good quailty.

Great pictures, Toney. I am jealous... I haven't seen a bear in several years in Sequoia Park. Deer and bobcats but no bears.

Thanks Maureen _ we were very surprised to have seen four in one day, especially Sherry.

Thanks for the others compliments too.
