Just a quickie to say hello to the users of this forum forum following my transfer from the G3/G5 after I had purchased a new 10D today. A stunning piece of kit but damn is it heavy, especially with the grip attached - but hey, I'm with the big guys now!

Welcome aboard!

To clarify one thing, however----

A 10D is not heavy; it is 'ergonomically balanced.'

Your G3/5 is underweight. You will learn the other differences in time.

Welcome to the D-SLR board. Since I've had my D30 I've been offered great advice from the members here.
