PuR -- thanks. these were at Wrightsville, with a 300 f4 + 1.4x teleconverter, and a polarizing filter. This pics are cropped about 60% of the whole frame, never get close enough for surf photos.

Im not entirely sure why, but no3 appeals to me, maybe its the obvious enoyment hes getting from surfing.

Hey David... considering the limited size of the waver we have.... there are pretty good. I have a long board in my garage that has yet to hit the Atlantic Ocean. My eldest son wants to take it out sometime... looks like I should let him. Our place is down on Oak Island and we don't get any swells worth looking at... perhaps we should head on up the coast some....

Mark -- surf at wrightsville is usually pretty tame, but with a little off-shore storm can be good. check out www.wblivesurf.com

Bubba -- #3 is my fav also, in part because he's my son. In the past year he has become a surfing addict. He's dragged me into it too -- a good way to spend time with my teenager.
