Exhibit Engine 1.5 beta 3 FIX PACK 2 (7th of October, 2003)

NOTE THAT THIS FIX PACK INCLUDES fix2setup.php WHICH YOU MUST RUN ON YOUR GALLERY ROOT.

Did I remind you to backup the database?

This fix pack fixes following issues:

1. Small panorama viewerstyle glitch (did not load properly). Fixed.

2. Group index has some new stuff (for daddy0). Now you can set up group image as you like, there is a photo and exhibition counter under each group, latest exhibitions (3) is moved under news section, exhibitions which are not in any group are listed separately (all under current pass of course).

3. When group does not contain photos, it is not displayed in group index or list page.

4. Database name added to server info.

5. Removed $translated["exhibition"] from /(language)/index.php

6. Added $translated["exhibitions"] to /(language)/global.php and $translated["orphan_exhibitions"] to /(language)/index.php

Thank you. A small (?) improvement is still in my mind. Could exhibitions which are not in any group be listed with random/newest/etc images? I don't mind if they even look similar to groups on index page.

After running EE15b3_fix2.php I got this message when trying to view the public gallery.

Exhibit Engine MySQL error!
ERROR FROM QUERY group_links in page 'index':

------------------------------
Unknown column 'ee_exhibition_group_eng.ee_groupthumbs_style' in 'field list'
------------------------------

If you encounter this error with unmodified EE source code please mail this error to EE developers with version number, detailed circumstances when it happened and preferably with a database backup dump. All reports helps improving EE to your satisfaction. Thank You.

Do you get errors also in group editor?

I am not sure why but it is now working. Tried restoring the database back to pre PACK2 and tried the conversion again checked all the file updated and it still gave me that error so I walked away in disgust. Today it works :-)... so... onward!

What does groupfix do? Its not broke right now so I don't want to fix it !

Groupfix adds those fields that your error message indicated were missing, and which should have been added by Fix Pack 3.

No need to run it if you don't get that message any more.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ee_stripslashes() in /homepages/29/d67619775/htdocs/08102003studio/gallery/fetchsettings.php on line 223

Check that you have uploaded all files. Now you seem to have misplaced slashwork.php.

I don't think this has anything to do fix script because it does not touch any files.

There was no slashwork.php in the folder. I will download again.

I have downloaded the fix again but the file is not included in the folder.
