1.5 or 1.22

Hi there... I actually have a few questions as a new user of this.

I am trying to use this but am coming up with problems at what I think are the last few hurdles.

Firstly, should I be setting up 1.22 when I see that 1.5 is in the process of being completed. Will the 1.5 be a long while before being ready for use?

I have been trying to get the 1.22 working correctly but have come up with a few problems.

on the install, I have got to the part 9 of the install but am unsure what I have to do regarding sub folders inside the folder "gallery" which I have set up. The link described in 9 for help 'http://bruce-hamilton.com/tutorials/chmod.shtml' does not appear to be working and as I don't know what chmod or 0777 are I am lost - sorry! Do I need to setup all the sub folders manually within gallery or does it do this automatically.

Can I add pictures to this gallery from the browser or does this have to be thru an FTP program? Nor much is said on this part.

Sorry for all the questions but I am just lost at the last bit....

1.5 is missing documentation and online help, plus couple of features like rethumbnail. In other aspects it is fully usable and ready.

I will try to produce 1.5 beta 3 FULL installer asap.

CHMOD commands are easiest to do using any Windows ftp program (I use SmartFTP). Select folder or file and give command from menu or dialog.

Witrh 1.22 you'l need to create folders and set their permissions, 1.5 will do that autmomatically using ftp.

With 1.22 you need to upload manually, 1.5 does it all automatically using ftp.
