Not sure whether I'm just blind, but I can't seem to find where to change hyperlinked text colour. Should be in the style php file somewhere?

Yes, in each style file link variables are

$s_link_color
$s_outputlink_color
$s_output_detail_list_row_linkcolor
$s_feedback_link_color
$s_feedback_iframe_link_color
