View Full Version : Red skin tones with S110 Flash

I recently purchased a S110 camera which I really like. One of the problems though is on a number of images using flash where the room lighting is tungsten, the skin tones are too red. When I view the images from the back, or connect the video out to a monitor, the skin tones are fine. However, once I've loaded it into my computer (either through the camer's USB or through a flash card reader), the level of red is unacceptable.

Anybody got any ideas on what to do to fix this?

Thanks,

Mike

My S110 does the same thing. It helps to go to manual mode and select tungsten white balance. It will look good then.

Also, converting from RGB to CMYK will make skin tones look more natural and you can obtain more realistic hues :)

The 'one stop photo fix' button in Paintshop pro 8 works a treat!
