I am rather proud of this one if I do say so.

It is an exellent shot. My only complant is leaves on the right. They are really distracting. Beautiful scene though.

I agree. Here is one without the leaves, althought I lost the horizon:(

Still an awesome shot without the horizon.

I agree. Here is one without the leaves, althought I lost the horizon:(The shot didn't need the horizon. The lighting caught on the ground and the zig-zag path are the important bits anyway. ;)

I like the second one better. Like John said, the patterns and light in the fields are what really makes this shot special. Good job!

I really like the shot without the leaves. Great capture and colors! Did you use a filter?

Thank you all. It is a very beautiful part of the world.
I used a polarizing filter.
I wish I has taken the second shot a bit later durring the course of the sunset to capture the darker shadow tones, but oh well.

Although I think it's better without the leaves, and agree that it doesn't really need the horizon because the interest is in the landscape, I don't understand why you had to crop it in such a way that the horizon was eliminated?
I love Tuscany, but can't convince my wife that we should move there.

I actually did not crop it. I zoomed in a bit to get the leaves out of the shot

Great shot, I bet your kicking yourself about the intrusion of the leaves.
With all that lovely light you'll have to make something from the shot
I'd have a play around with it, there are other crops you could look at to include the horizon.

without the horizon you don't get the feel for how grand a place Tuscany is.
As far as the leaves go they add prospective.
Should see if a tour company will buy the photo

Ditto for me. A square crop that leaves the horizon but loses the leaves?

Great looking shot.
It's much better without the leaves and even without the horizon.

I like them both. As mentioned several times, the leaves in the foreground are distracting but do a crop and it'd look great. I would have but you dont have image editing allowed.
Anyhow, beautiful shots!

Great shot Corbett and like the second the best. I'd like to see the cropped shot with the horizon.
