The thumbnails generated in photo order in exhibition are all square and not proportional (squeezed)

This is as designed.

To calculate mouseclick areas (up/down) you will need to know the coordinates. To know the coordinates you will have to get the image size (x/y). To fetch sizes, especially from external server, each time page is updated make whole page very sluggish or unusable. This is why I made all square - the click areas are fixed and it's all very fast.
