First of all where do you work to be able to take pictures like this?

Second, looking at that foot, I guess that's what happens when you don't moisturize!

I thought baby skin was supposed to be smooth. Glad you didn't take a pic of mom's foot then or worse: dad's. Love the idea and the outcome :)

Nice balance of flash and ambient light I'd guess on #1.
#2 makes a welcome variation of subject.

The National Archives in the leafy suburb of Kew, SW London. We are fortunate to have landscaped grounds with two large ponds and enough bug and bird life to keep me happy in my lunch hour.

Ahh I see, very fortunate you are indeed. Not too many insects by the beach were I work, but there ARE some hawks and bald eagles. Haven't had a chance to take a photo of one yet but as soon as i do you can be sure I will be posting it in that very hour.

I'm also glad to see that I am not the only one who takes photos on their lunch breaks :lol:
