Painted bunting is one of the most colourful birds in existance and your shot Duane has brought out the colours very well in perfect exposure with spot on focus.

Wow! Looks just as nice or nicer than the one that's on the cover of the last Birders World magazine!

Very stunning, love the colors, details and sharpness but realy impressed with the composition.

Excellent shot Duane. Colors are beautiful.
I have a lot of trouble getting close enough to them in the part of Texas where I live now. Maybe I'll have to start coming up to Oklahoma to get shots of them.

Absoultely lovely. There is a photo of a Painted Bunting on the cover of the latest Birders World magazine. This is one beautiful bird and I hope to photograph it one day. One of the best times up here to photograph this bird and many others is during Spring migration at Point Pelee.
