Order of file in Upload of Database

I got some question on the page "Upload to Database"

What is the sorting order of the files in "STEP 2"?

Sometime it is the decending order of file name (like 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1)
Sometimes it is not but with a strange order. (like 4, 5, 6, 7, 1, 2, 3)

Is it a bug?

In additions, I think this order will affect the order of photo in the collection (Photo ID No.) (Default Author's Order).

Since I like the order to photo is sort by filename in acscending order, It is quite painful to import a few hundred photos. I need to set order in exhibition
one by one.

Is it possible to have option to sort the list in STEP 2 of Upload page (with Ascending or Decending order) by filemname, date .......

or

In "set order in exhibition", add option to set order according to (with Ascending or Decending order) filename, date .......

Good points.

I'll add choice of sorting to upload page.

Author's order of uploaded files must also be changed, I'll produce some code with adds new photos to beginning (according to current public page sort order).
