I've stopped my G3's continuous focus mode using the camera's menu, to save some battery life and decrease focusing noise, and i've noticed a strange behaviour that made me return to continuous focus ON.
When C. Focus is OFF, when you press half the shutter button and the camera gets the focus & light metering, there is about a half second of image freeze in the LCD monitor. I think that when the camera does its calculations the image on lCD is not refreshed. I find this very annoying, because often i want to do some last second little adjustement in composition and this way I can't. Have anyone noticed this behaviour? Looks like a firmware issue to me.
Thanks in advance for any suggestion ;)
PS: I forgot to say that I absolutely LOVE my G3 :)
