This is the first picture i shot in "raw"

what do you think?

and why is it that the when i post an image it dosn't look like the original????

I like the picture. It looks like there is some noise, OOF, or somthing but it does not look really sharp on my screen. But other than that, it is a good picture.

how are you converting for posting?

For web usage, your photo should be converted to sRGB. Do that first. Then, if you use Save for Web, you should click on the circled triangle and set to Use Document Color Profile. (see below)

I hope this is correct. Somebody else will correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure! :-)

Sorry, mamabravo! I forgot to ask if you're using Photoshop!

If so, I believe the above settings will make your pics look like they should.

well i tried exacly what was shown on the phtoshop (screen shot) and had no luck.

every time i tried to upload the picture it tells me that the file is to large so i ajusted it to the lowest quality in photoshop and nothing

I will keep tring

I like the last shot.
Has a 3D effect like his head is sticking through a window.
Nice shot. :)

I have better luck using a site like "Photobucket" to host pictures and linking from here.

I think the last one is much better. A lot of what I am seeing may very well be that I am on a laptop. It is a "Truelife" screen from Dell but a laptop screen non-the-less. Anyways, much better.
