Hi guys, this is probably a dumb question but I tried searching and couldn't find the answer.
How do I change the owner's name programmed into my D60? I bought it second hand and I've noticed that the original owner's name appears in the image properties.

You need to use Canon's FVU with the camera attached to the computer to do that. There is a thread somewhere here that explains it, but I could track it down. Here is a link that will help show how to accomplish that: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos10d/page16.asp
Works the same on the D60 as it does on the 10D. I have both cameras and have added the owner's name on both my cameras.

It's on page W-44 of the Software Manual (for the 10D; not sure about the D60, but its there somewhere).

Run up remote capture with your camera attached via USB. Then ....
Select [Camera Settingsā¦] from the menu. The Camera Settings dialog will display. The following settings can be adjusted in the dialog.
- The owners' name can be adjusted and uploaded to the camera.
- The date and time settings can be adjusted and uploaded to the camera.
- The formatting of a CF card in a camera can be initiated from the computer.
