I want to use my D10 directly connected to my laptop. Does anybody have experience with programs handling this. Does there exist any other program than Canon remote Capture, and how is RC? C1 does unfortunately have support for D10

The people that make Breezebrowser make a program called 10D Remote. You can see it here.

I have never used it so I can not tell you anything about it. They use the Canon SDK so my guess is a different interface to the same control.

Chris Breeze (Breezebrowser) also has a Yahoo Group set up for product support which is excellent. You could use this to ask some questions and I am sure you will get all the help you need.
I use BB - quality product and excellent support.

The Yahoo group is free and can be found at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/breezebrowser.

roald,
I have used the BreezeBrowser 10D remote software a few times and found it easy to use.
One think to keep in mind if you have the image sent to the computer on a shot by shot basis, which I did, is that the transfer time is slow because of the USB connection limitations.
Also, the way I had it configured the images shot using the remote software had a number scheme and sequence that was not related to the image numbers the camera applies.

One thing to note - last I looked (which was a while back), both the breezebrowser and Canon's remote utility couldn't handle exposers past 30 seconds (bulb settings). If your taking night shots at bulb settings, then you need the expensive Canon remote.
