I was in Stanley Park yesterday, which is a huge urban park near downtown Vancouver, and was fortunate enough to get this series of a Great Blue Heron stalking, attacking and catching its prey. The catch was a half frog half tadpole which seemed to large for the heron to eat!

Superb, the stop action of the attack is phenomenal catching each droplet of water the way you did.

SUPER series here Stan. Love the head dunk with view of it's eye on the target. Last image with the "tadfrog" very nice too.
