Well, I finally got to use my new gear. Unfortunately, it's from a hospital bed with one overhead flourescent and no flash. Not the most flattering pics from a 1D but hey, I get bored and play with stuff. Anyway, I'm pretty sure the camera and 24-70 Sigma work. Now I just need to move some studio lighting into my room and deliver the hot nurse shots I promised in another thread.

1/8 shutter at F8 and ISO 250 with camera resting on a box

1/60 shutter at F2.8 and ISO 250 freehandish (I was laying on my side in bed, propted up on my elbows)

There was a little PP done on both. Some crop and the second was originally color. C&C and hate mail and anything else is fine. Also, I can't seem to get the multi spot metering to work (or I just can't tell). I cleared my cfn's. Any other suggestions?

Man, having a camera along with you in hospital has got to make the whole experience that little bit less painful...

Hope you get outta there soon!

Can't help with the multi spot metering, btw :p My 20D doesn't even have single spot metering...
