Very nice shots, especially the first. I see them regularly at a local park but they are almost always under brush and hard to capture.

Great series again Wayne; Lovely capture in an environmental setting (#1). Sweet looking pose for # 2. (here, I would be tempted to crop a little tighter...looks sharp & crisp enough to handle it well).

Beautiful shots ! I really like the second shot. How many different species of birds have you been able to photograph ?

All are wonderful shots, the lighting on the first shot makes it my favorite.

Well Wayne you are true to your word...here it is just as you had predicted to me this morning when we crossed paths. Glad to see you found him and i guess i will have to go and take a look as I only have one shot and its a late evning one.

I especially like the first one for the pose, detail, and light ..but they are all quite nice. Great work!!

GreaT shots! Love the 1st one.

Good shots, I like the second and third best, to me the first is a bit too bright.

Thank you everyone for such wonderful comments ,,,

Marc and Gary, I spent almost 3 hours there watching them and listening they became quite comfortable with me there letting within 20 feet when they were in the open, and within 5 or 6 when they perched in a tree,,, I hope to return there real soon maybe Monday evening if its nice

Great shots! They certainly seem worth the time you spent there. I really like the first one too.

Congrats on yet another new species for you Wayne! It's funny how they are so unapproachable early in the spring and now they just don't care about our presence.

Congrats on adding the brown thrasher to your list, Wayne. Your shots are first rate, as usual.

I've seen a few fly across the road, and backed up to get a shot of one yesterday, but so far they've eluded me this year.
