Control markings

For one reason or another the markings on my control dial P, Tv, M, etc. on the S45 have started to strip away... I can still of course read the mode I'm choosing on the LCD, but it's a small, small hassle. Does anyone know of any permanent marker that will work on the metal of the control dial so that I can re-touch those markings?

Re-mark using Humbrol modelling enamel using a fine artists brush. - But personally I wouldn't bother as I'm not that good with my hands.

To prevent this problem in the first place cover markings with "New Skin" available from Boots the chemist.

(This advise only applies in the UK of course - can anyone internationalise it?)
