Hi everyone
I'd like to submit this picture to the forum hoping to get some input. I've always been interested in photography, but it's only been in the past few months that I've decided to make a real effort at improvement.
This is my Dawg Jacob, guarding the Canadian frontier... in the winter he wears a tooke and eats donuts.... LOL!
Anyways, thanks in advance. If you feel inclined to visit my Gallery it's at
http://community.webshots.com/album/93846717DOyLrx
some of the photos in there suffer from some classic mistakes, never the less, your comments are appreciated.

Claudio~~Hello! :)
I enjoyed your gallery...The Leaf, Fruit Basket and the Mushroom caught my eye. All the Sky photo's showed very nice contrast. Which Canon camera do you use?
Thank you for posting your work.

xxlt, ilya and cyberdyne;
Thanks for your replies. I've thoroughly enjoyed admiring your posted photos as well... sooo many, I'm still chopping away at the other ones posted in the forum by other members (dial up connection).
xxlt, in answer to your question... I use a Canon Power Shot S230, its just a point and shoot 3.2 MP digital cam.
Hey you guyz, can anyone direct me to where I can find info regarding how to post a picture on the forum? I tried to do it but it didn't work.
Thank again for the kind words

Yep!
Here's the deal,. you can't post a picture to this forum directly,. you need to allready have it hosted (like in your gallery) and then it can be imbedded in your post.
Here's how.
1. Click on a picture in your gallery.
2. Now with the mouse RIGHT click on the picture.
3. A menu will pop up, at the bottom select "Properties"
4. A window will open, in the middle highlight the info after the word Address: (this is the direct web address to your image, NOT the page it is on)
5. Once the address is highlighted,.. copy it.
6. Now back in your post on this or any other foum paste that address like this;
http://community.webshots.com/s/image2/5/10/86/93851086ycDjPH_ph.jpg
This is the direct link but to "EMBED" it there is a little typing you need to do.
7. Type around the hyperlink you paste exactly like this

BUT! Do not leave ANY spaces! ( I have to put spaces here so you can read the symbols :) )
