Looks a fascinating place to visit. Love the architecture in the last two shots.

Most of the original ruins only come up to the floor just above the water level. Nearly everything above that was reconstructed in the mid 19th century. I love the fact that in Europe, buildings that are regarded as a modern reconstruction are the same age as what we call old, historical buildings back home in Australia.

Those are great! I love the conversion in the last ones. If you didn't look at the clothing on the people in the shot, you would think they were taken a long time ago. Nice job!

Thanks Becca. I did a straight B&W conversion using the chanel mixer. Then I added a colour cast by creating a solid colour adjustment layer based on the colour of the stone used in the buildings around bath, changed the blending mode to color and then played with the opacity to get a pleasing affect.

lol i did'nt realize it was re-opened :lol: .After all the trouble they had with it :confused: .
Great shots, i like the first one :cool: .
I'll have to pop over and pay the place a visit :cool: .

It's a cool place, i've been there a few times but never armed with a SLR digital or otherwise :(
