There's been a lot of talk about the suitability and the quality of the Sigma 15-30mm lens. I bought one of these on a recent trip to the USA and you could see the results from it in my gallery at http://www.alanrolfe.co.uk/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=usa2003.
The Arlington and Washington galleries were all taken using a Canon 28-135mm USM IS lens, but the otehr galleries mainly used the Sigma lens.
As usual, any constructive comments would be welcome.

My IP or your "system" slowwww today. So I picked off the thumnails for the Adirondacks and got stuck waiting for my selections to upload.
What I saw I enjoyed. I love NY, Vermont and New England. You missed to color season.
You might consider posting a few of your favourite images say 6 x 9 and around 100K if others report slow going.

Hi Howie
Thanks for the comments. I do try to make my photos under 100K because not everyone uses a broadband connection (even less in the UK). There are about 15 or so just over the 100K mark.
Most of the photos are sized at 667 x 445 or so pixels so that makes then about 9 x 6 inches in round numbers.
The troubel with the web is that there are too many variables.. slow speed could be down to anything - ven the transatlantic links depending on the time of day. I know when I want to surf US-based sites, its best at about 7am UK time.
Glad you enjoyed what you saw.
Alan
