Summit Point Raceway?

I managed to score a media pass for an upcoming event at Summit Point raceway called Hyper-Fest. Mostly drifting but some NASA road racing too. I'm just trying to find out what the good turns are for catching the action. I'm used to drag racing, lol. Is anyone here farmiliar with the track? The drifting will take place on the Jefferson circuit.

On JC there isnt hardly any good places to take pictures as a spectator. Since you have a pass i can only imagine that they will allow you onto the track. Unfortunatly, there is only one turn thats viewable to spectators (turn 1), unless they shut down Main and let people view from Main.

Thanks for that. Can you reccomend me a good place to start? It's going to be a fairly short event so I want to be as efficient with my time as possible, trying not to waste too much time scouting out the good places.

I will definitely post some of my pictures after the trip. I'm afraid that I'm not going to have many keepers, it's my first time shooting something like this. I'm used to drag racing, lol. All the action is at the starting line and I have a green light that flashes when it's time to take the picture, lol. I'm doing as much reading as I can before I go so hopefully I'll be prepared. The good thing is that I'm now "in" with NASA and SCCA so I will be able to get a pass for nearly any event at any track that either of those two organizations sanction.
