IXUS 400 Remote Capture

I hope someone can help me. I have just bought the Ixus 400, and am, in general very pleased with it.

However, the remote capture program does not seem able to save my settings. I need it to load each time with "macro" on and "flash off".

Any ideas ?

I just checked. It seems there is no way the Remote Capture programme will memorize settings from one session to the other. That's a pity.... :O

You're right it is a pity and something that with just a little thought they could have done.

Will have to wait for version 127 !

Robert,

I've also noticed that images shot with Remote Capture go straight to a hard disk folder and are not stored on the camera CF card. Thinking of it, this probably happens because the camera is connected to the pc and makes downloading pictures from the camera to the pc an unnecesary step. :)

Sorry if this sounds obvious to you. I have had my camera only for a couple of months so I am still in the "discovery" phase.... ;)
