I finally got around to putting together some photos from the US Grand Prix. It was only my second chance at shooting an auto race, and I've learned quite a bit after going through all the pictures. Everything was taken with a D30 and either a Canon 28-200 or a Sigma 15-30. Most of the pictures were processed with Photoshop Elements 2.0.

Enjoy!

Nice photos. Looks cold in the morning (hands in pockets) am and warm in the afternoon.

Reminded me of my trip to Mossport ( near Toronto) in the early '60's to see Sterling Moss and others. Took hours to leave that venue.

Yes, it was very cold in the morning, with some rain showers during the race. Wow! Luck you, getting to see Sterling Moss must have been a treat.
