I just saw an ad for Best Buy and they announced a $100 price reduction on the G5 now selling for $600.00 in the store, Is Canon getting ready to release another Camera???

Canon is always getting ready to release another camera. The Product Life Cycle ( http://bized.ac.uk/virtual/cb/factory/marketing/theories4.htm ) of this type of product is fairly short.
