I have read other threads re computer unable to read raw files, but my problem seems to be different. I have no problem reading RAW files from my 20D using CS2 via a card reader. But when I do it witha 350d the program will not open the RAW file. It has no problem with the simultaneous jpeg file.
Is the RAW files of the 20D a different format to the 350D RAW files.
Any suggestions??

You need to download and install the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw, v.3.4. Most likely you have v.2.4 which doesn't support the 350D RAW Files.

ACR 2.4 doesn't work in CS2. I think ACR 3.0 is the version that was shipped with CS2, and suppoert for the 350D started in ACR 3.1. Do as Mike said, go and downlaod and install per the instructions the updated ACR 3.4.
