Beautiful Ohio.
***********
Wonderful shot. If these are your Fall colors, what else can you do?
I am not sure. Possibly:
1: Level the water a bit more -- if the trees can live with that change.
2: Shoot at F/8 or smaller for sharper leaves on the distant shore and let the blurr live in the reflections.
3: Shoot 3 days earlier when colors and leaf coverage might be stronger.
4: Maybe include someone "drifting with the current"!
Beautiful blend of colors.

PS: I shot a set of 40 images yesterday with a clearing fog/mist and in bright lightl, but the color was amazing. I could not get on (or stay on) scene in the magic hours.

Leighow~~Hello and thank you for the help...F8 was all I had...I'll go back tomorrow! I used the kit lens.18-55.
I handheld this shot cause a couple of lovers were in a parked car....vs..setting up the tripod...darn-it. *VBS*

Looks like the colours in the sky are oversaturated. I've had this happen in my photos and from memory it looks like that when the blue channel hits 255.

Both pictures don't do it for me:
#1: reflected colors seem more saturated than colors of trees; can be improved in PS though
#2: has a green cast
