Paint Shop Pro For $49.99

Best Buy advertised Paint Shop Pro 8 for $49.99 USD this week. The sale price is $79.99 with a $30.00 upgrade rebate. The upgrade can be from PSP or any of several other products. There are details on the JASC Web site.
In addition, they advertised Paint Shop Photo Album for $39.99 with rebates to bring it down to $9.99.
It was in the Sunday Best Buy ad section of the local paper in Maryland (USA). I don't know if the sale price is nationwide or not.
My guess is they are trying to get some sales ahead of Photoshop CS. They got my business.

PSP is a great program (I've been using it since version 6). Jasc just posted an update to version 8.10 today. And, this was posted on the user's forum:

Finally, I'm pleased to note that Jasc will be shipping a full CD version of PSP 8.1 to all registered customers who purchased PSP 8.0 or 8.01. If you have not yet registered your copy of the program and would like to receive an update CD, please be sure to go to the Help menu in the program and select "Register Product Online", then fill in the required fields.

Now that's what I call customer service.

You can also download the 8.10 update from their website. $50 for PSP 8.10 is not bad. That's how much I paid for it.
