Scanners ????

I'm looking to start scanning some of my previous film shots. Has anyone used the Canon 9900F or equivelant models ? Your thoughts are appreciated.

I've been using the HP 4570c, and have been quite pleased with the quality, I liked it better than the Canon

Thanks for your response, but why did you like a scanner with 2400 dpi resolution better than a scanner with 3200 dpi ?

Don't think I saw that Canon model when I was comparing, What I noticed on the Canon was a very flimsy film/slide carrier, It looked like an after thought, were as the HP had a seperate hard plastic film/slide carrier that plugged into the back of the scanner itself and you than placed it in the glass, the HP just look a lot better build for the money, I also don't know how much difference the 3200 dpi is going to make, when you factor in everything else that effects the picture.

Just took a look at a review of the Canon Scanner, pretty sweet, Had it been around when I picked up mine I probably would have considered it.
