Roses etc

Good morning.

I went to a park to take autumn photos, but I think there are still too many green leaves around.
I took quite a few photos, but would like advice on these two, please?

I think this needs cropping, but not sure how

I used a colour diffusing filter on this one, and I like the effect, but two people have told me they hate it!!

Personally, I'd like to see even more of the flower, but I do like the second one.
You've created a nice fairytale sort of mist.
Can't really put it into words, but I like it.
