I had seen a thread on mosaics and it got me thinking. So I went to http://www.andreaplanet.com/ and downloaded the free software. I took me about 5 hours to make the mosaic. You may ask, "Why it took so long? How big is it? What are the deminsions?" Well, I made the original 20 by 30 inches at 600 DPI. Then I split the image into 9 sections. In the software I ran "create BIG mosaic" and split each section into 25 parts. Next I ran the mosaic generator on each part with 300 pixel length for each image and by 100 images per row. After all the mosaics were created I peiced it back together in PhotoShop. Well, the thing was HUGE! LOL! File size is around 5 gigs. The deminsions are 72000 by 48000. Feel free to critque or comment.

DANG thats cool...
I had seen this software linked on here before, but never downloaded it...
Did you just have to tell it what drive to get the pictures from?

You basically Create an album then go back and load the album. The software is very user friendly.

Yeah, this thread is a year old. I was needing to create some free space so I deleted them.

What I did was formated all the images so that the widest side was 300 pixels with sRGB 8 bit jpg images. Then click on create albulm. This may take some time.
