Very nice and an Owl I am not at all familiar with,,,a Europeen species? Are the eyes right or did the 580 cause that look? I am asking because I don't know..I like everything else about the shot...just not sure on the eyes.

Beautiful shot of this Owl, was it at night? did very well if it was.
Nice detail and good pose.
I'm with Gary regarding the eyes, it seems the flash made the owls eyes dilate a little.

Thanks for your comments people. Tawny's eyes are usually black and I think the flash had given them an unnatural look. Time for a bit of Photoshop I think.
