Hey guys,

I need to buy a proper camera bag for my digital rebel xt, just wondering if anyone has some recommendations for a good brand? I just want something a little better than keeping the strap around my neck and coddling it each time it leaves the house :)

Futureshop had a few no-name bags that were cheap but were just kinda all purpose, so the camera wouldnt be that snug of a fit.

Preferrably I would want something capable of holding the camera, and maybe one other 'average sized' lens, nothing too extreme for now :D

Thanks a ton for reading ^^

How about a Lowepro Nova 2 AW or Nova 3 AW? I have the Nova 4, and it's been a great bag so far. The Nova 3 probably has a bit more room than you need right now, but it's always good to have space for future aquisitions!

If you just want a bag to carry your 350D/XT then a LowePro Topload zoom Mini fits really well.

Tamrac 5405 (http://www.tamrac.com/5405.htm) serves me very well.

I have the Lowepro Nova 3, and that worked well to fit the camera with a lens attached, a flash, and then a lens or 2 (at a squeeze). Recently purchased Crumpler, simply because it fitted just as much but didn't look like a camera bag when i went out.

To fit the entire kit i just purchased a larger Lowepro bag to take the whole kit.

The advantage of Lowepro is the AW range (all weather) which has a cover that comes out from under the bag and covers it in times of rain. But like has been said, make sure you forward plan and purchase a larger bag than you need right now. As you passion grows, so will your lens collection. :)

Probably a little late to the party, but I carry my 350D/17-85 IS USM in a Domke F-802. I use the 3-divider insert, and add some bubble wrap to the compartment carrying my camera/lens so as not to put too much strain on the dividers. Works great for a 5D/24-105 too.
