I think you are right there tccin3D.. haven't tried LR.. here I did a click WB on his shirt and did pull down the red channel a bit with DPP

Tonight we participated in a game held in many big cities around the world - Journey to the End of the Night. You race from checkpoint to checkpoint, avoiding those chasing you as you dart across San Francisco. I didn't make it far; cornered in a tennis court with only one gate, I hopped a 15 foot fence, ripped my pants and got away from my chasers. However, I landed awkwardly and hurt my foot. (Keep in mind, this is climbing and jumping off a fairly tall fence with a camera with no lens cap swinging from my neck). I will definitely be back next year.

thank you :) i don't usually do a lot to them really. most common is a de-saturation & contrast boost in LR - sometimes [i did on the one above] i add a split-tone ;)

Got this lens last night and went for a wander round town to give it a try out. Before this lens I had an Canon 18-55mm IS which I sold to buy this lens.

Only thing I'm having trouble with is holding the camera still, hopefully I'll get better at this as time goes by.

Anyway, here a few pics from my journey. The rest were wobbly, blurry, over/underexposed.

Kind of dropped my nifty-fifty and it opened up a little where the lens contacts are. The auto focus motor no longer works, but it manual focuses fine. It occasionally gives me "error 01 check the lens contacts". I hear it's pretty easy to open it up and fix the motor, but I'm not sure if I want to risk anything. Does anyone have experience with this?

thanks! the usual desat & contrast increase - played with exposure on some by up to half a stop or so either way just to keep them all looking in a similar style.

A quick photoshoot in my classroom of my special education assistant before the kids came in for the day. I used one umbrella and reflector. The background was some fake brick print tacked to the wall.
