High Speed Sync with EX flash on G3?

Hi-

I'm considering getting a G3 (or G5 if I can't find one), and I'm wondering if the High speed sync mode on my 380EX flash will work with the G3? I downloaded the manual, but can't quite determine if this is supported or not. Says highest speed for flash is 1/250 - but not sure if this applies when putting flash in high speed mode.

High speed sync works with the G3 and 420ex (up to G3 max of 1/2000). I would think that this should also work with the 380ex.
