Depends what you want to know. As family record shot it is really quite terrific . Period !

But if you want to get artsy, and purer as another member Eland preaches place a sharper eye on your S = subject, L = light, and R = rubbish. This could be a prize winner (IMHO) if ...

R = the kids were isolated against just the lawn ( the garbage can and bay window add a context for your family (and maybe us too!) but may be distracting

L = the light is great -- but sunligt and backlighting might add more mood, and

S = Great activity that we have all enjoyed. Pretty neat, but you might be able to home in more on the faces -- if the background were to change.

Here is one very rough look in that direction. Even so, what you have taken is pretty darn nice too !

I wish the trashcan was not there as well. So I should erase the background and put them on a nice green field!

Sometimes when I take shots like this I'm wondering if its worth it to have a realistic background of the average home, or try to make the picture someting else.

I'm impressed ...the skin colors are terrific. The sharpness is dead perfect looking @ my monitor.
