Okay,

Now I'm getting it working and a few pictures uploaded. Next is backing up. My understaning is EE Backup backs up the SQL database. How to you backup all the various folders of pictures? Normally I am used to having all the pictures in order on my own computer and then uploading. This is a little different having the images sized and sharpened on the server. There must be a better way than downloading each size manually to back them up after uploading them???

Most ftp programs can retrieve full folder structures with one download command. Isn't that easy enough?

It's always a good idea to replicate the structure and all the files of you website on your harddisk. If you install Apache and MySQL on your computer you can also test the behave of your website.

Pekka,

First, sorry about the face with all the question marks - not sure how he got there.

I just though the question out to get ideas, since there are a lot of more knowledgable people than me on this forum.

I was thinking that as exibitions get bigger there might be a way that I wasn't aware of to backup just the images you've recently uploaded rather than having to download all images each time you backup. I guess one should keep separate folders for each exhition.
