Hi all-

On the link below are some pictures I have taken since I began learning photography in June of this year. Some good, some average, probably some bad. Could I get some honest criticism? My friends and family don't seem to be able to tell me what I could be doing better. Let me know what ones you like and why and what ones are no good. Thanks!

Nice gallery -- you've only been shooting for the summer? My favorite is the first in your gallery of sailing pictures, the sails at a diagonal. It's a very strong composition & good technique. Congratulations.

Some pictures need a stronger focal point, or reason to get into the pictures. Particularly some of the fall color pictures have nice color, but the compositons could be stronger, with more of a reason to look at the photo besides the color.

Keep shooting. You are making nice images.
