telephoto lens a60?

Hello everyone!

I have an A60 and have been looking for a telephoto lens. I found one on ebay (made for the a80, a70 and a60) for about $90 shipped that has 3x magnification and is made by a brand called "opteka."

- What other lens will I be able to afford in that price range?

-- Will any lense that has a 52mm thread adaptor work with the A60, or do I have to buy special ones specifically made for my camera??

--- And lastly, are there any greater magnifying lens that will work with the camera, like 4 or 5x ?

I am relatively new to photography, if you can help point me to the answers for some of my questions it would be greatly appreciated -- thank you !!!

Hey there..

How are the results with the opteka. Please let me know. I have seen this advertised on Ebay; an adaptor; 3 filters; close up and wide angle lens for US$ 90 or cheaper. Can't beat that price as Canon or Tiffen lens cost a great deal more.

Could you please post samples of your photographs with the lens you purchased.

Sure, I will post some samples soon.

The package I purchased off ebay didn't seem to be that bad of a deal.

Basically I got the Digital Optics brand 0.45 wide angle lens (with macro lens), the digital optics 2x optical lens, the filter set which included 3 filters, a UV, polarized and flourescent filter and a lens adaptor.

In addition there were accessories including; a TR-1s Tripod (cheap?), a table top tripod, a AA battery charger with 4 2000 nimh AA batteries, and a camera case.

All for $120 shipped.
