I have installed 1.5b4 which is working beautifully. I have a question about paths as I would like to have a folder structure for my pictures once they are uploaded. For example:

pictures - album1 - large
------------------------ medium
------------------------ small
------------------------ thumbs
------------------------ microthumbs

------------ album2 - large
------------------------ medium
------------------------ small
------------------------ thumbs
------------------------ microthumbs

but I'm not sure what I need to change in the path statements to do this (or even if its possible) at the moment I have uploaded ALL my pictures for all exhibitions into the same set of folders.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Only one thing to remember: exhibition has only one possible thumb and microthumb folder. So, to do above, add one thumb path and one microthumb path. Then create a new exhibition and go to exhibition editor and select those paths for it.

This also means that after you have chosen thumb path for exhibition and uploaded photos, do not change that path again (you can see in path editor if path is in use) or you will have to manually move already existing thumbs to new path.

With bigger sizes the system is totally free. Make new paths and select them on upload.

What I'd like to emphasize is that you really do not NEED an organized tree folder structure. EE will function as efficiently with one path or 100 paths, but setting up above path system may grow in time too big for USER to handle comfortably.

at the moment I have uploaded ALL my pictures for all exhibitions into the same set of folders.

That is perfectly ok, too :)
