Powershot S-100 Outdoor Shots Heavy Blue-Green

Hi

My indoor flash shots seem ok, but my outdoor shots in natural light are heavy in blue and green, as if the subject was illuminated mostly by blue and green floodlights. The camera is maybe six months old. Is there something simple in the settings I can change?

I'll bet you've left it on manual and tungsten. Press "Menu" and make sure it's in "Auto" mode. I'll bet it's not. Just switch it back to auto. If you like, you can leave it in manual mode and set the white balance as you like by pressing "Menu" twice more and then selecting the white balance as appropriate.
