Hi All
Help needed. Printing from PSP or PS or even the default print prog that comes with a G3, my greens look very cyan coloured. Plastics are worse than natural greens. They look great on the screen. I use an old HP930c. I've tried changing to various icc profiles in the printer driver but they make no significant difference. I do use HP inks.

The screen is a close match to the colours as seen in real life.

I can't justify a1290s just yet but maybe later.

What ICC profiles did you use? For output to the printer, you need to use a profile which is especially made for your printer model, ink and paper type.

have you even profiled your monitor? just because what you see on screen matches what you think you saw in real life, doesn't mean thats actually what the colors in the image are.. Get a hardware monitor profiler first, and start there, then visit profilecity.com to find a profile for your printer... I think thats the site.

Thanks for the info

I am quite happy with the monitor's grip on reality. I guess I need an an "ICC" editor & then just do "trial & error". I'm not looking for professional output just the ability to control it.

Look here for an answer to the question: “My prints don’t look like what I see on my monitor. What should I do?”
